Mixed Veg Poriyal

Ingredients

1 carrot
10-15 beans
1 cup cabbage
1/2 onion
1 green chilly
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp urad dal
pinch of turmeric
salt to taste
1 tsp oil


Method
1. In a skillet, heat oil and season mustard, urad dal
2. add onion,green chilly and turmeric and saute well
3. add chopped carrot beans and cabbage with salt and little water
4. cover and cook
5. serve as side dish for rice
