Yields : 8 Cup cakes of the size posted in picture
Ingredients
1 stick butter,unsalted(1/2 cup),room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 tsp orange zest
1/4 cup orange juice,freshly squeezed
1 egg
Icing
1/2 cup icing sugar
2-3 tsp orange juice
Methd
1. Preheat oven to 325 d
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar for 4-5 mins until soft
3. add in egg and beat well
4. add grated orange zest, mix well
5. add flour all at a time and mix well
6. add in orange juice and mix well
7. pour in lined cupcake tray
8. bake for 30-35 mins, until tooth-pick inserted comes out clean
9. remove from oven, cool it and make icing
10. mix icing ingredients and frost it
