Spinach & Channa Rice

Ingredients

3 cup chopped spinach
1 cup cooked basmathi rice
1 cup cooked white channa/ kondakadalai(with salt)
1 onion
2 tbsp oil
3 garlic cloves
big piece of ginger
4 green chilly
1 tsp red chilly powder or to taste
salt to taste

Method

1. In a skillet, add oil, when its hot add ginger garlic paste
2. then add onion and green chilly and/or chilly powder fry till its translucent
3. add cooked channa/kondakadalai and fry well
4. add chopped spinach and salt( only for spinach )
5. cover and cook till water is absorbed
6. now add cooked rice and salt for rice and mix completely well with spinach
7. serve hot
