Ingredients
1 1/4 cup black eyed pea
1/4 strip 2 colors capsicum
1 small onion
1 tomato
2 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp aniseed powder
2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard
Method
1. soak peas overnight, and pressure cook with 1 whistles
2. In a skillet, heat oil
3. Add mustard
4. when it splutters, add aniseed pwder, then onion and fry well
5. now add ginger garlic paste, and stir well
6. now add tomato and mix well
7. now add the cooked pea, with capsicum and add salt and chilly powder
8. add 1 cup water and cover and cook till gravy is little thick
9. if the gravy is too watery, mash some peas and add
10. garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with variety rice/idly/dosai/chapathi/roti
