Tomato Rice 1


Ingredients

5 tomatoes, chopped finely
5 garlic pods
1/2 of a big onion, chopped finely
4 green chilli, slit lengthwise
1 tsp mustard seed
2 tsp urad dal
3 tsp channa dal
2 strand curry leaves
3 strands coriander leaves
1-2 tsp red chilly powder
2-3 tbsp oil
3 cups cooked rice

Method

1. In a wok, heat oil, splutter mustard seed, urad dal, channa dal, curry leaves
2. Now add chopped onion, green chilly and fry well
3. add chopped tomatoes and fry well
4. add salt, chilly powder.
5. cover with lid and let it cook for 10 mins
6. oil will oozes out and it will be formed into rolling state
7. add chopped coriander leaves.
8. mix with rice as of checking the quantity to your taste.
