Ridge Gourd & Prawn Curry

Ingredients

1 medium size Ridge Gourd(chopped into small pieces)
2 cups Prawn(cleaned)
1 big red onion
1 big tomato
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tsp urad dal
1 strand curry leaf
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp red chilly powder
salt to taste
water as needed
2 tbsp oil

Method

1. In a large skillet, add oil, when hot splutter mustartd and urad dal
2. Add chopped onion, then add ginger garlic paste, curry leaf
3. Add tomato and fry well.
4. Now add tomato paste
5. Add the prawns and stir well
6. Add salt, chilly powder with 1/2 cup water. cover with lid and cook prawns well
7. once its cooked, add chopped ridge gourd and cook for 5-10 mins
8. Serve with Dosa/chapathi
