ngredients
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup rava/semolina/sooji
1/4 cup maida/all-purpose flour
1 medium onion
1-2 green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds/jeeragam
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp grated carrot(optional)
salt to taste
water approximately 3 1/2 to 4 cups
1 strand curry leaves chopped
2 tbsp oil
Method
1. In a bowl add rice flour, rava, maida, cumkin seeds,ginger,carrot and salt with water for 1/2 an hour
2. In a skillet add 2 tbsp oil, when it is hot add mustard, onion, green chilly and curry leaves and fry well
3. while making dosa add these fried onion into the batter soaked for 1/2 an hour and mix well
4. check for salt and heat dosa tawa and make into dosa
5. cover with lid and cook for one side
6. then turn to other side and without covering cook the other side
7. serve hot with sambhar/ chutney/ idli podi
