Peas Potato Fry

Ingredients

1 cup frozen peas
1 medium size potato
1 onion(chopped lengthwise and then into 3 parts)
1 tomato
1 strand curry leaf
1 tsp aniseed(perunjeeragam) powder
3 garlic pods
1 tbsp red chilly powder(adjust to taste)
salt to taste
2 tbsp cooking oil(olive,canola or vegetable)

Method

1. In a skillet, add oil, when its hot, add aniseed powder, then onion, garlic,curry leaves and tomato
2. after 2-3 mins fry until onion is transparent, add cut potato, peas, chilly powder, salt and 1 cup water
3. cover and cook for 10 mins in medium heat
4. check in between for water and cooking strategy
5. cheeck for salt and spicy and cook till potatoes are soft
6. can be served with any rice sometimes with chapathi too.
