Chicken Tandoori

I followed this recipe through one of my friend Lakshana..

Ingredients

Marination for 10 mins:
1 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
salt to taste
4 Chicken thighs

Marination for 3 hrs:
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp or to taste red chilly powder
1 1/4 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pepper
Bright red color a pinch
salt to taste

Method

1. Clean chicken and make a mark with knife here and there in the chicken for the marination to penetrate inside the chicken
2. now mix the ingredients for 10 mins marination and apply over the cut chicken
3. leave for 10 mins and in mean time prepare the marination for 3hrs.
4. apply the marination over the previously marinated chicken and cover and refrigerate for atlest 3 hrs, or overnight
5. now preheat oven at 400 degress
6. grease aluminum foil with oil and mark holes with a fork
(holes will help to drop the water drippings from chicken when cooking)
7. place another aluminum foil under the hole marked foil
(this will collect the dripping from the cooking foil, to avoid the oven to be spoiled)
8. now place the greased and holed foil in middle rack and place chicken over to cook
9. and place the other foil in below rack to collect drippings
10. cook for 30 mins, then turn and cook for 10 mins and follow this for another 30 mins
11. after 1 hr remove the chicken, and check
12. If masalas are not properly cooked(chicken will be cooked),place in microwave for another 3-4 mins . It will be done...
13. Serve with cut Onion and lemon.
