Oats Paniyaram

This recipe is from Jaya's recipes

Ingredients

3/4 cup of Oats
1/4 cup of Tur dhal
1/4 cup of Channa dhal
1 tbsp of Urad dhal
1 tbsp of Moong dhal
1 onion Chopped
1" ginger piece
salt to taste
6 Red chillies
1 tsp fennel seed
curry leaf, coriander leaf
oil for frying

Method

1. Wash and soak the dhals together for 3 hours
2. grind to powder the Oats, red chillies, fennel seeds and ginger
3. Add soaked dhals and grind to a coarse paste, add water and grind if required
4. add salt, chopped onion, curry and coriander leaves, and let the batter to be in pourable consistency
5. mix well, heat paniyaram pan and pour drops of oil and pour the batter once its hot, wait for few mins and turn it to the other side, and cook for both sides and serve
