Ingredients
3/4 cup Urad dhal
3-4 green chilles
1 " ginger
salt to taste
4-5 spring onion
corriander leaves, curry leaves
Method
1. Soak Urad dhal for 3-4 hours
2. grind dhal with green chilli, ginger and salt by adding little water(add with tsp)
the batter should be soft but not watery. should be able to make balls with free hands.
3. chop spring onion with both green and white parts
4. Add to the batter and mix well along with curry leaves and corriander leaves
5. heat oil in kadai and fry this batter into either vadai or bonda as you prefer
6. serve with coconut chutney.

What kind of processor should I use to grind urad daal because mine does not grind into a paste.
