Vegetable Pulao

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup Basmathi Rice
1 1/2 tbsp Yogurt
2 green chilies
1/2 of a big onion
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
oil 2 tbsp
salt to taste
water 2 3/4 cup water

whole Masalas:
1 Bay leaf
1 cardamom
1"cinnamon stick
1 javentry

Mixed Vegetables:
1/4 cup Carrot
1/4 cup Beans
1/4 cup Peas

Dry Masalas:
1/4 tsp chilly powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
1/4 tsp cumin powder

Method

1. Soak rice for 5 mins before cooking
2. In a saute pan, add oil, when hot add whole masalas, then onion and little salt and fry
3. then add ginger garlic paste, green chilles
4. saute a while then add dry masalas and stir well without burning
5. add vetables and stir well along with salt and pepper
6. then add yogurt and blend well to get mixed up well and oil starts to float on top
7. In a rice cooker add 2 3/4 cup water with rice and this masala and check for salt and taste
8. once half done add corriander leaves and cook full
9. hot pulao is ready, serve with raitha or gravy.
