Matar Paneer Masala


Ingredients
200 gms Paneer(Cubed and saute in a tbsp of ghee,till lightly browned)
1/2 cup green peas
1 large onion, chopped finely
1 tbsp green chillis and ginger paste(1"ginger+3 chillis)
2 tomatoes,chopped finely
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp kasuri methi
pinch of turmeric powder
1 tsp milk
salt
oil 1 tbsp
ghee 2 tbsp

Method

1. Heat oil and ghee and saute chopped onion, add ginger-chilli paste, coriander powder,chilli powder, turmeric powderr,red chilli powder
2. Saute well with little water
3. Add tomatoes and fry well, cool it and grind to a coarse paste
4. In the saute pan add this paste with 1 cup water(or more if needed)and peas and bring to boil until peas is cooked
5. Add paneer, salt and cook till all combines to a gravy
6. Add kasuri methi and milk and give a nice stir and turn off flame
