Soft Pretzel

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp canola oil
1 tsp butter, melted
1/4 + 2 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tsp active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
kosher salt for topping(optional)

baking soda water dip:
1/2 tbsp baking soda
1/2 cup warm water

Method
1. Prepare Yeast as instructed in the packet.
2. pour oil in it ans stir
3. In a bowl mix flour, powdered sugar,salt and butter.
4. stir in the yeast oil into the dry ingredients and mix'
5. add warm water and knead it in a plain surface for about 10 minutes
6. place the dough in a bowl proofed with warm water, till it rises to double the amount of dough
(keep replacing the hot water for every 15 mins, if heat reduced)
7.preheat oven to 400 d .
8. divide the dough equally and make pretzel shape.
(roll the dough into a long thin srip, then twist the open corners and press to the center of the roll)

9. prepare the baking soda water dip, then dip each pretzel into it and lay it on baking sheet greased with spray
10. Bake for 10 mins or until pretzels are browned
11. Blush melted butter on top and sprinkle with salt
